Dr. Howington brings 18 years of experience spanning Pre-K through 12th grade in both general and alternative education settings, all guided by a philosophy of authentic servant leadership. With skills in school safety and security, social and emotional learning, data informed instructional leadership and community connections, Dr. Howington is poised to make a significant impact as a part of the leadership team at SMS. Mrs. Harlow comes to us with 27 years of dedicated experience as an educator. Having served as a bus driver, coach, teacher, and class sponsor, she brings a deep understanding of school life and a strong commitment to our students' success.
We're particularly excited about her strengths in math, her focus on building strong relationships, her experience in coaching and mentoring, and her genuine love for our community.
