Literacy Matters!
SMSD parents and students are concerned about literacy and believe that it matters. Thank you to our presenter, Benjamin Torrey, for explaining the importance of reading and providing parents with take-home kits that can be used to assist their child.


Join us tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the SMSD Parent Center for Literacy Matters! This session is for Pre K-3rd grade parents, and it will focus on the importance of literacy. All attendees will receive a FREE take-home kit.
Refreshments will be served.

Senatobia Tate County Career & Technical Center needs an Engineering/Robotics teacher for the 23/24 school year.

Progress Reports will be distributed on Tuesday, February 7th.

Senatobia Municipal Schools will be on a 2-hour delay for Friday, February 3rd. School start times and bus pick-ups will be delayed for two hours from the normal start/pickup times. If a full-day cancellation is necessary, notifications will be sent by 7:00 a.m.
Due to winter weather and continued power outages, our regularly scheduled school board meeting for 2/2/23 has been rescheduled for Monday, February 6th at 7:00 PM.
Due to multiple power outages and ongoing ice accumulation, Senatobia Municipal School District will remain closed today, February 2nd.
