Mrs. Harlow comes to us with 27 years of dedicated experience as an educator. Having served as a bus driver, coach, teacher, and class sponsor, she brings a deep understanding of school life and a strong commitment to our students' success.
We're particularly excited about her strengths in math, her focus on building strong relationships, her experience in coaching and mentoring, and her genuine love for our community.

Dr. Howington brings 18 years of experience spanning Pre-K through 12th grade in both general and alternative education settings, all guided by a philosophy of authentic servant leadership. With skills in school safety and security, social and emotional learning, data informed instructional leadership and community connections, Dr. Howington is poised to make a significant impact as a part of the leadership team at SMS. Congratulations to India Hale being named a finalist for Parent of the Year in Congressional District 1 ! There are only four (4) districts in the state.
The SHS Warrior Archery Team placed 10th in the North Half Tournament ! They will compete on Monday, April 7 at the State Championship Tournament.
The SMS Warrior Archery Team placed 4th in the North Half Tournament! They will compete on Thursday, April 10 at the State Championship Tournament.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of our SMSD Intersessions! Your incredible participation, unwavering support, and dedicated efforts made each intersession truly special. Though this chapter has ended, the memories we created together will undoubtedly last a lifetime. Thank you for being such a wonderful community. We're excited to embark on the next part of our journey at SMSD, continuing our commitment to preparing our students to be productive citizens.
