All SMSD schools and offices will be open tomorrow, February 9, 2026. We can't wait to see all of our Warriors!
All Senatobia Municipal School District schools and offices will be open on Monday, February 16, 2026.

We are thrilled to announce our Senatobia Municipal School District Teacher of the Year: Ms. Gieshala Mims. Ms. Mims serves as the Cyber II and Stem teacher at Senatobia Middle School. As a national presenter known for her expertise on the ethical use of artificial intelligence, Ms. Mims uses her skill set to challenge her students to be critical thinkers. Outside of content, Ms. Mims understands that relationships contribute greatly to student success. We are so thankful for all that Ms. Mims does to create a classroom culture where students are challenged but feel valued and loved. Congratulations!

As we wrap up Counselor Appreciation Week, we pause to celebrate the heart, dedication, and steady presence our SMSD counselors bring to our schools. Your influence reaches far beyond a single week, and our students are better because of you. Thank you for being a constant source of support and strength. 💙💛

On Thursday, February 5, 2026, students will take the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) during the school day.
All juniors will take the ASVAB, and seniors who are interested may sign up to take the test through their school counselor.
The ASVAB is a career exploration assessment that helps students identify their strengths, skills, and interests. While the test is often associated with the military, students do not have to be interested in military service to benefit. Results provide valuable insight into career pathways, technical skills, workforce training options, and post-secondary planning.
There is no cost to students, and participation provides helpful information to support future decisions after high school.
If you have questions, please contact your student's counselor. Go Warriors!
